30 ASSAGAO

30 Assagao is a small, charming and stylish property situated in the lovely village of Assagao in North Goa.

Our bed and breakfast was created to appeal to the discerning traveller who expects quiet, natural surroundings. We are located in a semi forest garden, with a medium sized swimming pool. Birds and butterflies abound and the local monkeys (Langurs) occasionally make their rounds. They are shy animals and totally harmless.

We provide a good healthy breakfast of fresh fruit, juice, local breads and jams and eggs to order. We do not serve meats. The water is filtered using the reverse osmosis process which is 100% safe to drink and we encourage people to use it instead of buying plastic bottles which are becoming an ecologic problem in India.

We can arrange high quality Yoga and massage sessions for our guest both in house and outside. There is also a good Ayurvedic clinic nearby for people who would like to detox or treat minor ailments in a holistic way.

We know the better places to eat out in and some of the more interesting things to do. We take great pleasure in meeting our guests and sharing our experiences with them.30 Assagao is approx.50 kms from the airport, 20 Kms from the capital Panjim and 4 Km from Mapusa the nearest market town. We are situated inland and away from the touristy areas but still easily accessible.

Goa is well known for its beaches and we are a 10-30 minute drive from most of the beaches in North Goa.

Goa, once occupied by the Portuguese has a distinct architecture and there are many interesting and charming buildings to see. Of all the places in India it has a distinct euro-Mediterranean feel to it and is a good place to wind down after a tour of India or as an easy introduction to a magnificent but often difficult country to travel in.

Our property which has a lot of stairs and different levels is not recommended for small children and disabled people. No pets please.
