The Limes Guest House
Set in the historic market town of Newbury.

The Limes was originally built in 1910 during the Edwardian era and is conveniently situated on the A4 between Thatcham and Newbury. There are many places of interest to visit in Newbury and the surrounding area and Newbury Racecourse is only one mile away from The Limes.

Our spacious, idyllic and peaceful gardens are an ideal place to enjoy one of our delicious evening meals. A secluded corner away from the hustle and bustle is a great way to relax and unwind.

The dining room overlooks the gardens, giving a wonderful and making it an ideal place to enjoy one of our delicious evening meals.
Our Rooms
This is one of our Double rooms. All rooms are en-suite with baths or showers and we can also accommodate families and provide triple rooms on request.

The Limes has wireless internet access. If you are working away from the office or just need to get up to date on the latest news, just connect wirelessly through our internet gateway.
Alcohol License
We are fully licensed to serve alcohol. We have a wide range of drinks including Wines, Spirits and Mixers, Lagers, Beers and Soft drinks. So if you have had a hard day at the office, why not come and relax in the guests lounge with a well deserved drink.
Laundry Service
A laundry service is available Monday to Friday, all laundry should be left out in the morning and will be ready for collection in the afternoon.
Fax Machine
If you are working from your room and require use of a fax machine, just ask one of our friendly staff and they will fax it for you (extra charge).
Other Facilities
The Limes also has ample off road parking and delightful gardens to the rear.
Directions
The Limes is situated on the main A4 road and approximately 1 mile to the east of Newbury Town Centre, there is a bus stop just outside with a regular service in and out of town.
If you are coming from Junction 13 of the M4, you need to take the A34 south to Newbury and then the A339 also signposted Newbury, proceed straight over the Vodafone roundabout, you will then reach the Robin Hood Roundabout, take the second exit onto the A4 signposted Reading. Proceed through one set of traffic lights, go straight over the B&Q Roundabout, carry on 400yds passing The Swan pub and The Limes is on the left-hand side of the road, just before the traffic lights at the Fir Tree Lane junction.
The Limes Guest House is also just a 10 to 15 minute walk to Newbury Racecourse.
