Introduction

Quintessentially English, ‘Fletchers’ Bed and Breakfast offers stylish, accommodation within a traditional 17C thatched country cottage. Built in the 1640’s as three cottages to house the local farm workers and their families, Fletchers was rescued and tastefully renovated by a local builder in the 1970’s and has benefited from further refurbishments latterly. The cottage offers high ceilings throughout; a fusion of contemporary and traditional furnishings; off road parking and exudes warmth and character.

‘Fletchers’ B&B nestles in the north Buckinghamshire hamlet of East Claydon, close to major attractions such as Silverstone for the weekend ‘get-away’ visitor or within easy reach of Milton Keynes and Buckingham for the working professional.

Rooms

Our rooms offer comfortable, clean accommodation with quality bedding and towels. There is an ‘honesty’ bar available in the sitting room offering guests a choice of chilled beers, wines and soft drinks.

Breakfast

Our quality breakfast menu invludes fresh fruit, cereals, yoghurts, fruit juices, full english breakfasts (with choice of any type of egg), coffee, tea or even beans on toast. All ingredients are locally sourced and cooked to order. Breakfast is served between 07:30 and 09:00. Special dietary requirements can be catered for with prior notice.

Supper

For those wishing to have a bite to eat without travelling, with prior notice I can offer a three course home-cooked simple supper menu for the reasonable price of just £15 per person. Alternatively I can offer a two course meal for just £12.50 per person. Both of which include a complimentary glass of wine. The kitchen is open between 18:30 and 20:30.

For late arrivals who give prior notice, I can offer a cheese board or plate of sandwiches at an extra cost of £6 per person.
