The Mill

Within easy reach of several of the lovely gardens of Cornwall, Trebah, Glendurgan and Carwinnion are at Mawnan Smith and Trelissick is accessible by a boat trip up the River Fal from Falmouth. While in Falmouth pay a visit to The Maritime Museum and Pendennis Castle.

We are close to the Helford River, south is The Lizard, beaches and the coastal path, and the towns of Helston and Falmouth are a short drive away.
Visit Helston in May for the Flora.

Further west are St Michaels Mount, Lands End and St Ives.

Going east towards Truro take the King Harry Ferry across The Fal to The Roseland and visit St Mawes. Further on are The Eden Project and The Lost Gardens of Heligan, both well worth a visit.

In a small converted barn next to our own detached cottage we offer two very comfortable rooms, a double with king size pine bed and a twin, with pine beds, both ensuite, featuring wooden floors and exposed rafters.

Well equipped, with TV/DVD, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, toaster, clock radio/cd player or ipod, both rooms open into a kitchen area complete with fridge and units where there are tea/coffee-making facilities and breakfast items are stored.

A substantial continental style healthy breakfast is served in your room where a dining area is provided or guests are welcome to take breakfast in our pretty garden where there is a picnic bench.

Ample parking is available, it is a short sloping walk to our front door and level ramp access to the accommodation.
