With views over the river Taw towards RMB Chivenor and Braunton Burrows, Alanstyne bed and breakfast is our family home that we dearly love and enjoy everyday. We therefore would like to invite you to stay and experience beautiful North Devon from our warm and friendly family home.
Our southerly facing garden and private woodland areas are abundant with wildlife and offer a relaxing atmosphere in which to unwind.
Alanstyne has many places to visit within just a few miles. Walking or cycling the Tarka Trail, visiting Fremington Quay, bird watching on RSPB Isley Marsh, strolling along Instow beach or exploring the shoreline of the Taw or Torridge rivers are all sure to be great days out.
Surfing your passion? Then look no further. This is definitely the place to be as you are not far from some of the best beaches the country has to offer, Croyde, Woolacombe, Putsborough Sands, Saunton Sands and Westward Ho !
After your long day out perhaps exploring Exmoor and enjoying what North Devon has to offer relax in our garden and private woodland area or even cook up a feast on the BBQ and dine alfresco under the magnolia tree.

Our Rooms
Double or Twin Rooms all en-suite with electric shaver/toothbrush sockets.

Breakfast / Dining Room
Tea/coffee making facilities available 24/7. A Packed lunch is available by prior arrangement (at additional cost).

The Isley room (twin beds, ground floor) is suitable for guests with minor disabilities.
An outside shower point is available for washing off your wet gear or surf boards, bikes and boots etc. An outside secure covered area is also available for use to dry or store equipment.
Parking for up to 5 cars, Garden and Woodland areas, BBQ and patio.
There is a regular bus service running every 15 minutes or so to either Barnstaple, Bideford, Appledore or Westward Ho!
If you have travelled to North Devon via train or coach, we would be happy to collect you from either Barnstaple railway or coach station with our compliments.
Tariff
£30 to £45 per person per night
All prices include a choice of cooked breakfast and cereal each morning with tea, coffee or juice whenever you like!
Packed Lunch
A packed lunch of sandwiches, fresh fruit, biscuits or crisps, cake or choc bar with a juice drink is available by prior arrangement
