100 West Bay Road B&B

We are a friendly, family run, television-free bed and breakfast close to the town of Bridport in Dorset and the sea at West Bay. Our home is a Grade II listed property and a non-smoking household.

We provide home-cooked food made from locally-sourced and fairly-traded produce wherever possible.

We particularly welcome people who wish to explore the wonderful Jurassic Coast and local countryside. We offer secure cycle storage and repair facilities. There is off-road parking for your car.

Our rates include a full English breakfast:

From £40 single occupancy for 2 or more nights

We can accommodate bicycles and have workshop space. Within 10 minutes walk from the house you could be in open country amongst the beautiful, rolling, Dorset hills. Local beauty spots include Lyme Bay, Abbotsbury tropical gardens and Swannery, Chesil Beach and Dorchester, capital of Hardy's Wessex.

We are approximately 100 yards off the A35 on the road to West Bay - a pretty coastal resort a mile to the south of our house. This is part of the Jurassic coast and a World Heritage Site. The X53 bus stops outside the house and will take you West to Lyme Regis, Seaton, Beer, and Exeter. To the East is Burton Bradstock, Abbotsbury, Weymouth and Poole.

Within a 15 minute walk to the north is the busy, historical, market town of Bridport, where there are excellent restaurants and pubs. Bridport's street market was recently rated among the top 50 in the UK. We are close to the Sustrans National Cycle Network (Route 2) and the South-West Coast Path for walkers.
