Bun House B&B Comfortable Bed & Breakfast in the heart of Cattistock

Bun House offers comfortable Bed and Breakfast in the heart of West Dorset in the picturesque village of Cattistock, widely regarded as one of the most unspoilt in Dorset.

Located in the heart of the village Conservation Area, Bun House is next to the shop / post office and a hundred yard walk from the excellent public house, the 'Fox and Hounds', which serves food daily. Lying in the Frome Valley, the many footpaths and bridleways offer superb opportunities for walking and exploring this part of the county, which is dotted with pretty villages nestling in the hills, many with excellent pubs serving high quality local produce.

Our main guest room is a good size and has a wonderful 6 foot bed with 100% Egyptian cotton sheets, duvet covers and bedspreads. There is a large wardrobe with hanging space and shelves, guides and useful information on the area, complimentary mineral water, bathrobes, hair dryer and colour digital television.

The private bathroom is directly opposite the bedroom and has just been refitted with high quality fixtures. Whilst it is impossible to create an en-suite bathroom in a house of this age and character, this bathroom is for the sole use of occupants of this room (unless the same party also take the second bedroom in the knowledge that the bathroom will be shared).

There is a charming smaller second double bedroom which is ideal for friends or family of the occupants of the main room who do not mind sharing the bathroom. Under no circumstances will the second bedroom be occupied by anyone unconnected with the first.

Very local villages and attractions are Evershot, Maiden Newton, Chantemarle, Halstock, Wraxall, Frome St Quintin, and slightly further afield but within 10 miles are Cerne Abbas, Dorchester, Sherborne and Beaminster.
