Corkwood B&B

Corkwood is a charming 1 bed cottage situated in the grounds of the families main residence.

Guests have the sole use of the cottage, which have 1 bedroom, shower room, lounge with sofa bed and small private garden. The cottage is comfortably equipped with central heating, tv/dvd player and tea and coffee making facilities.

Full English breakfast is included and can be served in the cottage or in the family dining room, locally sourced produce is used where possible and free range eggs from our own hens.

The local area offers a wealth of wonderful walks and is approx 3 miles from the ancient cinque port of Rye and 15 miles from the medieval town of Hastings.

Well behaved pets welcome.

Camber Sands is approx 6 miles away with beautiful golden sand.
We have an excellent village pub within easy walking distance offering traditional home cooked meals.
Rye itself is approx 3 miles away and is almost suspended in time with cobbled streets, medieval church and beautifully preserved houses from medieval, tudor and Georgian times.

What to see and do
Swimming can be enjoyed at camber sands, Winchelsea beach or the new indoor pool at Rye. Windsurfing and dinghy sailing can be found at Rye windsurfing lake, and kite surfing courses take place at camber sands.

Fishing, cycle hire, horse riding, tennis and golf are also available in the locality.
Nearby towns also offer The Romney Hythe and Dymchurch miniature steam railway or the full size restored steam trains of the Kent and East Sussex railway taking you to the beautiful Bodiam castle.
