The Horns Lodge Inn
Linda and Mike extend a warm welcome to you at the Horns Lodge, a traditional unspoilt independent freehouse conveniently located on the A275 about 5 miles from Lewes. We have two comfortable double bedrooms one with a large en suite bathroom and the other with a private shower room. Both rooms feature TV, coffee making facilities and WiFi Internet.
During your stay you may wish to dine in our restaurant from our menu of freshly prepared dishes or you may wish to enjoy a drink in our cosy bar, which is warmed by log fires in winter. We specialise in microbrewery real ales (we are Good Beer Guide listed) as well as offering a range of good wines and lagers and other alcoholic and soft drinks.
The Horns Lodge is conveniently located for many local attractions including the historic county town of Lewes or the bustling seaside resort of Brighton which is just an easy drive away. Other nearby attractions include the Bluebell Railway, Plumpton races as well as the National Trust gardens at Sheffield Park.
The famous Glyndebourne opera house is a 20 minute drive while Gatwick airport is approximately 30 minutes drive away for those that are travelling further afield. The Horns Lodge is also surrounded by beautiful and varied countryside being within a couple of miles of the newly formed South Downs National Park and the South Downs Way.
Also close is Chailey Common, one of the largest areas of open heathland left in the South of England, although there are also many lovely walks right on the doorstep.
