The Cross Keys Inn is a traditional country free-house dating from circa 1705 located in an area of outstanding natural beauty on the Wiltshire / Hampshire border neighbouring the Chute Causeway.

Our letting accommodation comprises four rooms housed in the converted barn and old storerooms adjoining the original building ensuring a peaceful stay for our guests but also offering all the facilities of the pub bars and restaurant.

We offer lunch and dinner Monday to Saturday, and traditional SUnday Lunches from our bar menu. In addition there is our famous Pie Menu.

For our younger guests we have a safe playground area with playhouse and a fort climbing frame for the better weather.

Pets are very welcome with well behaved owners.

All our rooms have been designed to make your stay with us as comfortable as possible whether it be a short or long term let for business or pleasure.

All rooms are en-suite, have colour TV with freeiew, tea and coffee facilities, and open wireless broadband access throughout the pub and rooms.

The nearby town of Andover is just 8 miles away with a mainline station to London Waterloo. Southampton is approximately 40 minutes and offers the closest airport with many UK and European flight routes.

Within 30 minutes are the historic towns of Hungerford, Marlborough and Newbury with its famous Newbury racecourse.

Our area offers many local attractions including Stonehenge, Andover Iron Age Museum, Danebury Hill Fort, The Hawk Conservancy, Finkley Down Farm Park and The Museum of Army Flying.

Walkers
We are ideally located for many walks and regularly cater for numerous walking groups throughout the year. We are currently preparing our own Walkers Guides that will help identify local walks of differing lengths and suitability for different age groups

Riders / Cyclists
Chute and the surrounds are a very popular riding area and we can provide stabling for your horse and ponies on-site and provide packed lunches so you can spend as much time out enjoying our countryside as possible to get the most out of your visit.
