Applewood
Situated 4 miles east of the cathedral city of Hereford and within easy reach of Ledbury, Ross-on-Wye and Hay on Wye. You will be our only guest(s) in our converted 19th century cider mill and dairy. You will have spacious and private accommodation of a double bedroom and sitting-dining room and your own bathroom, with bath and shower. Your westerly aspect includes a field with a duck pond and chickens.
Applewood is the perfect place to unwind and relax. We provide continental breakfast, tea/coffee making facilities, fast wireless broadband wireless, off road parking as well as your own outside space with decking where you can enjoy your breakfast. Our neighbours free range eggs and apple juice are usually available. Two single beds can be provided in the sitting room and a high chair is available.
We generally get positive feedback from guests as we try and cater for your requirements. You have your own entry-door so can go and come at your pleasure. The bathroom is finished to a high standard: under floor heating, separate shower and bath. Unlike most bed and breakfasts we offer a separate sitting room where you can enjoy wireless, TV or music. You would have to play very loud music for our neighbours to hear.
We have a good general knowledge of the area and can suggest interesting walks and places to visit. Nearby there are the Malverns and very close is Blackbury Hill. If you are staying for over 3 days we can take you to Wye Leisure, a private Health and Leisure resort. There you can enjoy sauna, steam and swimming as well as many other facilities.
