Ancaster B&B provides very high quality accommodation in an old stone built house in the middle of the Roman village of Ancaster. We have had a substantial renovation programme that has added modern facilities whilst preserving the character of the 250-year-old house. We have some excellent reviews on Tripadvisor, who rate us 5 stars.

All three en-suite bedrooms are spacious and there is a large guest lounge. The guest dining room has separate tables for each of the bedrooms. There is ample off-street parking.

Ancaster is roughly midway between the market towns of Grantham (8 miles) and Sleaford (6 miles). The Newark Showground is 12 miles away and Lincoln 20 miles. Ancaster is popular for fishing at the large Woodland Waters attraction, walking on the Viking Way and there is also go-karting, paintball and 10 pin bowling in the village. RAF Cranwell is only 4 miles away and RAF Barkston Heath, which hosts many motor sport and model aircraft flying events, is less than 2 miles away.

The impressive Belton House National Trust property with its extensive and beautiful grounds is only 4 miles away. The golf courses at Belton Woods, Sleaford, Sudbrook Moor and Ropsley are all within 6 miles of Ancaster.

We are in the middle of the village's main street, close to the newly renovated Ermine Pub & restaurant, which serves lunch and evening meals. We are about 150m from the village shop and a short walk from the Railway Pub, which has an excellent Chinese takeaway restaurant; we will provide cutlery and crockery for any guests who wish to eat takeaway meals in the dining room or their bedroom. Meals are also available at the new village cake shop / cafe and at the Woodland Waters Restaurant.
