As profiled in 'Norfolk Life' and 'Eastern Daily Press' experience all the benefits and advantages of the 'Good Life', The Lodge Smallholding Bed and Breakfast and self catering accommodation is run by hosts Ted and Susan, The Lodge is located in the beautiful North Norfolk countryside, four miles inland from the desirable seaside of Mundesley.
There is so much to enjoy from old country houses such as the National Trusts' Blickling and Felbrigg Halls, which are only a short drive away. Weavers Way offers some lovely tranquil walks and of course there is the Broads and outstanding Norfolk coastline and all its wildlife waiting to be explored. Why not take a boat out to Blakeney Point see the seals or a day boat to explore the Norfolk Broads at Wroxham or Wayford Bridge.
At the end of an action packed day we want you, our guests to relax and make yourselves at home. With that in mind all our rooms aim to provide for your total relaxation.

Please note: Because of our livestock we are regretfully unable to accommodate pets.
The Lavender Room is a ground floor room situated at the front of the house with an eastern aspect overlooking our sheep paddocks. A comfortable double bedroom with en-suite shower, basin and toilet adjacent to the room.
The Terracotta Room is a family style larger double room on the first floor with panoramic views of easterly and westerly aspects, plus its own south facing balcony for you to relax and enjoy the views of the garden.
Large en-suite bathroom / dressing room with WC.
The Lodge a registered smallholding surrounded by an acre of orchard and gardens and four acres of paddocks with sheep and pigs and poultry.
By combining rural accommodation with small scale production of endangered and rare breed pigs, sheep and poultry, The Lodge offers its guest a real taste of 'The Good Life' with the majority of your breakfast having been produced on the smallholding its self. During their stay guests are free to explore and very welcome to meet the animals.
Working, training based or activity orientated stays can be accommodated for those aspiring smallholders covering a range of smallholding topics.
