Standing in large, mature gardens, The Wayside is situated between Exmoor and the Coast, providing modern, country accommodation focusing on the highest levels of quality and service. Excellent location with easy access to great walking and the areas attractions. Dunster, Blue Anchor Bay, Watchet Harbour, Minehead and Porlock are all a short drive away. This is an ideal location for walking, cycling and steam train holidays.

We are an excellent choice for the Steam Railway enthusiast as we are close to the West Somerset Steam Railway. The West Somerset Railway seeks to recreate the atmosphere of a Great Western Railway branch line. There are ten restored stations along the route, many have signal boxes, engine sheds, museums, displays, steam engines and other rolling stock to see.

Our facilities include two light and airy double bedrooms, both with views across to Exmoor. Crisp cotton bed linen, luxury toiletries and other carefully thought out touches will all make for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The bedrooms are separate to the main house in an annex completed in 2006, allowing complete freedom to come and go as you wish.

Breakfast is served in the dining room of the main house located just across the attractive courtyard. An extensive breakfast menu, incorporating many local or homemade items awaits you.

Directions - Leave the M5 at junction 23, follow A39 towards Minehead. At Williton turn right at the mini-roundabout, continue for 5 miles. The Wayside is located 300yds on the right past The Dragon House Hotel.
