The Gables is a quality Guest House and Tea Rooms offering en-suite B&B accommodation in East Chinnock, near Yeovil, Somerset.

Dating from around 1670 when it served as the village bakery, the property offers guest accommodation and what was the bakery serves as a Tea Rooms or restaurant providing afternoon cream teas and the occasional small private party.

We have a selection of twin, double and family rooms, the majority of which include en-suite facilities. Our cosy tea gardens are located at the side of the property, where there is off-road parking for up to 9 vehicles.

Located on the A30 midway between Yeovil and Crewkerne, we are ideally situated for the business traveller looking for a quiet location with easy access to the town centre or for tourists exploring South Somerset and the picturesque West Country of Devon and Dorset beyond. Montacute House, Lytes Cary, Barrington Court, Ham Hill, Haynes Motor museum, Fleet Air Arm Museum are venues within half an hours drive away. Stourhead, Wells, Glastonbury, Stone Henge, Bournemouth, Dorchester, Weymouth, Lyme Regis and all of the Jurassic coast are but forty five minutes away in a car.

We have a range of twin, double and family rooms, several of which have en-suite facilities. Showers but not a toilet in some rooms and full en suite in the Family room only.

Discounts may be offered by special arrangement for longer stays.

All our rooms include Freeview Flat Screen TV's, Radio/Alarm clocks, wardrobes, chest of drawers and tea/coffee making facilities. Ironing boards and Hair dryers can be made available on request. Please note that all our rooms are non-smoking.
