Havyatt Cottage bed & breakfast
Our cottage was built in the 1850s and overlooks grazing fields with en-suite shower and W.C.
There is a northerly view of the City Of Wells about 5 miles distant, which nestles in a shallow valley beneath the Mendip hills. There is also an excellent view of Glastonbury Tor from our garden. There are fine walks in the local area and the cottage is surrounded by pristine fields and natural wildlife. It is a thirty minute walk into the centre of Glastonbury or five minutes via car (we can arrange transport if necessary at a nominal charge to places of interest).
We can accommodate a couple in a south facing double bedroom, and there is a comfortable sofa bed downstairs that can accommodate a third person.
Facilities:
The inside of the cottage is recently renovated yet retains original stonework, flagged floors, and much original elm woodwork. The cottage is also centrally heated.
We can offer both vegetarian, vegan or traditional breakfasts, and can prepare fine meals on the Rayurn if required. Evening meals can also be prepared if desired and can be tailored to your needs.
We also offer a private guest lounge and kitchen facilities should you wish to cook an evening meal and have all facilities such as fridge/cooker/kettle etc.
We have off-road parking and motorcyclists are welcome.
The house is a smoke free area although we don't mind if you wish to smoke in the garden.
Unfortunately dogs are not welcome as we have a cat.
The local wildlife can be quite stunning, deer, fox, buzzards and ducks have been spotted by our guests.
