Kenilworth is a beautiful town situated in the heart of the Warwickshire countryside and steeped in a wealth of English history.
A mention in the Domesday Book reveals that the Kenilworth of 1086 was a very different place to the town it is today. Over the past 900 years it has grown from an agricultural settlement of 100 to a thriving town of 24,000 people.
Kenilworth's most famous feature is its castle, generally reckoned to be the best ruined castle in England. The recently constructed Elizabethan Garden is a must-see!
The town centre boasts many independent businesses, making it an interesting place to shop. It is host to many bars and restaurants and is fast becoming renowned for its quality of fine dining.
You will find sample menus in your room's information pack covering a range of local eating places. Many of the restaurants get booked over the weekend, so we do recommend pre-booking if possible and we are happy to organise this for you, just contact us. If you would prefer to relax in your room in the evening, there are plenty of takeaway places in the town, many of whom deliver.
