Gozo
The Island of Gozo is the smaller sister of the more popular Malta at a walk-able 14km by 7km. Thankfully; it has managed to stay off of the radar and is still relatively unknown.

Gozo is an all year round destination. In the summer temperatures can reach 35 degrees, which should keep you happy if you are looking to soak yourself under the sun, and our warm winter temperatures of around 17 degrees are a draw if you come from more chilly climates.

Plenty To Do In Xaghra
If you want to spend hours strolling around a walker’s paradise of beautiful countryside and interesting and important historical sites then Xaghra will be perfect for you. The area is rich in natural appeal, with green hills, rugged cliffs and trails dotting the landscape. You could climb into the lofty Calypso’s Cave, where the lovesick nymph Calypso is said to have seduced Odysseus. Within 5 minutes you can reach the sanded beaches and blue waters of the stunning Ramla Bay. You’ll find long stretches of beach to sun soak on or simply wander along. A kaleidoscope of fish shares this coast, which boasts some of the best diving spots in the world. The village is also home to Ta' Kola Windmill, Ninu's Cave and The Toy Museum. Just a walk away from our Bed and Breakfast is the “must-see” Ggantija temples. These are steeped in history, dating back almost 5000 years, whose historical importance rivals the Pyramids of Egypt or the monoliths of Stonehenge.

The capital Victoria/Rabat is within easy reach as is the a much photographed Azure Window and Ta Pinu church, all just a short drive away.
