BedandBreakfest on Andøya

We have simple accommodations on a small farm, south on andøy, for travellers in need of a good nights sleep.

We are renting out our camping wagon, where there is room for 2-4 persons (two separate 'bedrooms'), electrical lights, a fridge, gas stove, hot/cold water and internet.

On the farm we have chickens, so there are fresh eggs every morning, and for those who like animals, we also have cows, horses, dogs and cats.

This is a simple offer, for those who appreciate the authentic, simple farm experience over luxurious hotels.

There are many nice experiences in this area, the mountains are among the oldest in the world, which result in jagged rocks with magical shapes, after having been ground by wind and rain for literarily billions of years.

There are also nice beaches nearby, and on Andøy you can find one of Norway’s biggest beaches, Bleik Beach, which is 2 kilometres long. Some people enjoy surfing on one of the northernmost surfing spots that exist, on the west side of the island.

Andøya also has a Rocket Base, where it is possible to get tours, to experience how this research facility works to deduce the function of northern lights, atmospheric disturbances, weather data and more.

Andøya is all in all a place worth to remember. Its nature is rich and varied, and you can find anything from beaches to mountaintops, swamps and forests within its area. Many people like to bicycle the Island, and there are endless beautiful small places to discover.

The culture of this island is also distinctly different from the rest of Norway, which is built around villages rather then cities. Many local farms produce their own foods (cheese, milk, hams, rools etc.), and you can experience their production first hand by visiting them.
