On the edge of the Sierra Nevada Natural Park, Ithaca Bed & Breakfast is ideally located to offer you a great choice of activities during your holiday.
We are a 15 minute drive from the famous city of Granada, mostly known for its majestic Alhambra Palace (a UNESCO world heritage site) and its rich cultural past.
The Mediterranean Sea is only a 25 minute drive away.
You can enter the Sierra Nevada Natural Park directly behind our house.
The ski resort Sol y Nieve is a 45 minute drive.
Our Bed & Breakfast is spacious and comfortable. We have a beautiful garden, a guest lounge, a little kitchen, a dining room and 4 bedrooms. It is our aim to provide high standard accommodation in a very clean, relaxed and informal setting. We are particularly sensitive to our guests desire for privacy and discretion, whilst being very available for help and advice.
The garden is well planted and full of life and colour, with a big swimming pool (10x6m). There are several secluded areas offering full sun or shade for reading or a siesta in our outside lounge. Table tennis is available for children of all ages up to 150.
You have a beautiful guest lounge with everything you need to relax after your day out. We offer free Computer/Internet access and WIFI for those who travel with their own laptop. There is a TV and a DVD player with a film collection. Also, we have gathered lots of information together about places to see, restaurants to enjoy and walks to discover in the region of Granada.
We provide a little kitchen area with sink, 4 ring hob, a microwave, a fridge, a toaster, a kettle with coffee, a large choice of teas and infusions, a trust bar filled with beers, fizzy drinks, Spanish wines, chocolate bars and savoury snacks for the aperitif.
Our breakfast is plentiful and varied. On top of the traditional «continental» breakfast (homemade bread, butter, homemade jam, honey etc), cereals and full fruit bowl, we offer freshly squeezed orange juice, free range eggs the way you like them, porridge and multiple flavours of homemade crępes.
The village of Padul has good bars, a local supermarket, pharmacy, bank and a market on Friday morning. We can recommend some excellent restaurants very close to the house.
