Schonwald Bed & Breakfast

We have two newly developed and decorated double rooms with en-suite facilities, both furnished to a very high standard. King size beds, flat screen digital TV in each room as well as tea & coffee making facilities. The rooms have beautiful views of the surrounding countryside and are maintained to a very high standard. We have a large comfortable sitting room exclusively for guest use.

Breakfast is served in the dining room with patio doors to the garden overlooking the pond. We have a choice of cereals and fruit juices or a Traditional Scottish Breakfast with tea/coffee and a selection of jams, marmalade and toast. A continental breakfast can also be catered for.

We are situated just 200 yards off the B979 Stonehaven to Peterculter road and is ideally located for business, tourism and sporting needs.

In a lovely rural woodland setting (the name of the house is German for pretty woods), yet within easy access to Stonehaven, Portlethen and Aberdeen; it's the perfect base for touring the Mearns and Royal Deeside or for the business person only a 20 minute drive to Aberdeen centre, only 10 minutes from Portlethen.

For cyclist we are only 1 mile off the Sustrans Route 1 cycle route.

Double Occupancy: £30 per person per night

Single Occupancy: £45 per person per night

We offer discounts for block bookings for periods longer than two weeks. Ideal for people who travel up to the North East on business.
