Crans is a period property built in 1905, it has been a family home since its construction and more recently occupied by Royalty.
The house is comfortably furnished and offers all our guests true Scottish Hospitality.
From the drawing room in which to relax with a drink after a long day of activity to the antique furnished dining room in which we serve our hearty Scottish breakfasts and our fine dinners using only the very best local produce.

St Andrews is close by with the famous Old Course, St Andrews University and the sea life centre. For entertainment the Byre theatre has regular performances or alternatively there in the film house.
Close by is the beautiful Fife Coast and a walk or a horse trek through Tensmuir forest and beach is an absolute must.
The area is home to more than 40 major golf courses and can be arrange. For the avid angler there are numerous trout fisheries close at hand or sea fishing from the beach. For those who like to be under the sea, scuba diving can be arranged.
For historical interest and natural beauty Falkland Palace and Falkland estate are 8 miles away and make a wonderful day out.
The East Neuk fishing villages Pitenween, Anstruther are close by and fish and chips at the famous Anstruther fish bar is a must.
For those visiting the local farming communities and Elwood College Crans bed and breakfast is perfectly located for this.
Cupar's train station is with a few hundred yards of Crans and for those arriving by air Edinburgh Airport is just over half an hour away while Dundee airport is a mere twelve miles away.
