Drynachan Bed & Breakfast

Drynachan is a beautiful cottage, set against the back drop of the picturesque Great Glen.

Parts of the cottage date back to the 17th century and have connections with Bonnie Prince Charlie.

We have a family/double room with an en suite bathroom comprising whirlpool bath and separate shower. Our cosy twin room has the private use of a shower and toilet. The rooms are equipped with every luxury from towelling robes and slippers to pillow sprays and chocolates. A full hospitality tray of Fairtrade goods ensures your every comfort. All children are welcome and a high chair and travel cot are available.

Our security staff Basil and Georgie (extremely friendly boxers) are always looking forward to making new friends. Sorry only two legged ones!

Drynachan is an ideal base for touring the Highlands, hillwalking, climbing the mountains, fishing the rivers and lochs, wild-life photography, 'Nessie' hunting - the list is endless.

We have TV's and DVD players, in all the rooms with a large library of DVD's for you to enjoy.

Why not sit in front of the open fire on those chilly evenings, curl up with a good book or relax while planning the next days tour. We are always on hand to offer any advice on the best scenic places and routes to take if required.

If you need to be in touch with home we have full WiFi coverage throughout the cottage.

By prior arrangement we can offer you a three or two course evening meal, two course supper meal or packed lunches. We endeavour to cater for various dietary requirements, including vegetarian, Gluten Free, Diabetic and the 'plain picky'

You could book a wood turning lesson with Neville whilst you are staying with us and take home a very personal souvenir of your Highland holiday. Alternatively purchase one of the beautiful pieces of 'wood art' that he has crafted. You can also try treadling the 200 year old Metal and Wood Lathe.
Additionally, we also offer, by arrangement, a service wash (wash and dry only).
