Heatherdale Bed & Breakfast
Heatherdale Bed and Breakfast is run by Rachael & Alasdair MacLeod. After renovating their family home, they opened up the upper floor as a bed and breakfast. Situated on a working croft, there are lots of animals about, cows, sheep and hens. Plus Glen the collie dog and Missy, the friendly cat. The 2 large double en-suite rooms are modern, tastefully styled and include a few of Rachael's handmade makes.
Guest accommodation is upstairs accessed through the guest entrance. The upper floor gives you fine views as well as a guest lounge. Equipped with a large flat screen tv, books, maps and two comfy sofas to stretch out on.
The Double Room has an en-suite bathroom and the Kingsize Room has an en-suite shower room. Both rooms have hairdryers, towels and tea and coffee making facilities.
Breakfast is a relaxed affair and served ready for you to help yourself to at your leisure. A wide selection of fresh breakfast items that changes daily. Breakfast is at a communal table so you will get the chance to meet the guests in the other room and swap experiences and hints & tips about your travels.
Heatherdale Bed and Breakfast is open April to October. Unfortunately we do not have credit/debit card facilities. Payment by cash or cheque please. A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required for stays of 3 nights or more.
Situated in a rural location in between Portree and Dunvegan, Heatherdale B&B is a good base to explore the Isle of Skye. Clean rooms, friendly hosts, relaxing environment.
