Lilac Bank, Crosshill, Maybole

At Lilac Bank we offer peace and tranquillity in our sympathetically restored, early 19th century weaver’s cottage. We are situated in the rural conservation village of Crosshill, surrounded by the rolling hills of South Ayrshire.

On arrival, unwind and relax with a cup of tea or coffee and home baking. Enjoy our full Scottish or continental style breakfast in front of the wood burning stove before experiencing one of our beautiful local walks or taking a short drive to view the stunning South Ayrshire coastline.

We are well situated for golf (Turnberry, 20 mins, Prestwick and Troon, a 30 minute drive), fishing, picturesque castles, coastal and countryside walks and the beautiful Galloway forest. Cycle route 7 goes past the door and we can store cycles.
This is Burns country and there are many of his local haunts to be experienced on the Burns Heritage trail, try Burns Cottage, the place of his birth or head down the coast to Kirkoswald to unfold more of his history.

At the end of a busy day there are plenty of good restaurants within a short drive.

Our accommodation comprises of a double bedroom with a very comfortable double bed with memory foam mattress and extra single bed (on request), if required, snug with wood burning stove and modern bathroom all in the same soft colour scheme and for your own use. There is a second double bedroom, which may be booked as a package with the first giving you a suite of rooms separate from the main house.
