Lomond Villa Bed & Breakfast

Welcome to Lomond Villa Bed and Breakfast, your home from home on holiday. Our family run B&B is in the heart of Balloch, by the banks of the River Leven and picturesque Loch Lomond, in Scotland’s first National Park.

Lomond Villa has double, twin and family rooms, all with en-suite facilities (with eco-friendly products), LCD TV, WIFI and hospitality tray. Hairdryers, Iron/Ironing boards and golf umbrellas are also available for guest use. There is also private parking for guests and a lock-up for bicycles. If you don't have your laptop with you and need to check emails or travel arrangements there is a computer and printer available for guest use in the breakfast room. And French and Italian are spoken here too.

You can start your day with a healthy breakfast of Muesli/cereal, fresh fruit and yoghurt, porridge, or if you prefer, a good old fashioned Scottish breakfast with a choice from bacon, eggs, potato scones, beans, tomatoes, mushrooms and sausages. We can cater for vegetarian, Vegan and gluten free diets, and if you give us a bit of notice we would be happy to make anything else you might fancy. We can also provide you with packed lunches and flasks of hot or cold drinks by prior arrangement.

There are a number of pubs serving food and restaurants including Italian, Indian, Chinese & Scottish, all within walking distance. A short drive from here you can also eat at the Michelin starred Restaurant Martin Wishart within Cameron house. We will happily reserve a table for you in advance to ensure you eat where you want to, when you want to. Don't forget to pop along the road to Lomond Fish bar to sample the best fish and chips in the area before you leave.

We are conveniently located next to Balloch Railway Station, making it an ideal touring base. There is a half-hourly service to Glasgow's city centre stations 7 days a week. From there you can pick up regular services to Edinburgh. We are also situated a 5 minute walk from Balloch bus station with regular services running to Stirling and the Trossachs and the picturesque village of Luss.

Balloch is also just a 20 minute drive from Glasgow Airport and 35 minutes from Glasgow city centre. So you can enjoy both the beautiful countryside around the Loch and Ben Lomond as well the City sights.

Within walking distance you'll find attractions such as Sweeny's cruises, Balloch castle and country park, fabulous for walking and it's spectacular views over the Loch. The Loch Lomond Sealife centre, boasting otters, sharks, rays, green sea turtle and an amazing sea horse breeding facility, is only 5 minute's walk from our front door and not to be missed! And right beside it you can shop to your heart's content at Loch Lomond Shores which hosts House of Frasers Scottish store - Jenners, Katherine Kinloch Shoes, Misty Glen gift shop and many more. And if you've forgotten any essentials you can pop to the superbly stocked Lomond Stores convenience store, right next door!

Whether your visit is for a sightseeing vacation, work, a wedding at one of the local popular venues such as Cameron House or Duck Bay Marina, the Loch Lomond Folk Festival, or even a trip to a highland gathering, we will take care of all your needs and provide a tastefully decorated, clean, well appointed, comfortable place for you to rest your head at the end of your exciting day.
