Chilhowee Inn Bed & Breakfast
Established in 1903, the Chilhowee Inn is the oldest operating inn of Blount County, Tennessee. Nestled in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains on the bank of the Little River, the Chilhowee Inn offers guests the peace and serenity of a secluded mountain setting, along with the amenities of a modern B&B. All of our guest suites have a Queen Bed, Private Bath, and sitting area for reading or relaxing.
A five minute drive from Chilhowee Inn puts you in the middle of Townsend, TN, which gives it access to all the attractions and activities that any good bed & breakfast should have access to. Visitors can bike through Townsend on a paved bike trail, hike the mountain trails to scenic locations, go tubing down the Little River, go horseback riding in the foothills of the Smokies, and more. In addition to nature's attractions, visitors can attend seasonal and annual festivals, live music concerts, arts and crafts fairs, and more.
Other attractions on the outskirts of Townsend are Foothills Parkway and Cades Cove. Foothills Parkway winds along the mountain peaks along the northern flank of the Smoky Mountains and provides some of the most beautiful views available of the Smokies. A 16.9 mile section of the Parkway that winds from Walland to Chilhowee Lake in Blount County is 1 mile from Chilhowee Inn. Cades Cove, a 30 minute drive from the Inn, is a 6,800-acre valley in which visitors can camp, hike, bike, and much more. Cades Cove includes a one-way, 11-mile loop that allows visitors to view nature and wildlife from the comfort of their automobile.
Chilhowee Inn is the perfect bed and breakfast because of its proximity to some of the most popular attractions and locales in and around the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Call and reserve your room today!
