The Neptune Hotel
The 1842 Neptune Hotel, built by Burry Port's Dock Builder and Harbour Master William McKiernon, has been modernised and extensively refurbished to provide good great food, fine wine and the perfect pint along with a great atmosphere at the heart of the Coastal and Harbour Park at Burry Port.
Food is served from 10am - 8.30pm daily. All our meals are homemade, freshly prepared and cooked to order. A good selection of wines is available from our wine list and we try, wherever possible, to use locally sourced produce.
We have a beer garden to the rear, and patio area to the front.
The accommodation at The Neptune was totally refurbished in June 2008. We have two double rooms and one twin room. All the rooms have en-suite shower rooms and all are decorated and furnished to a high standard. We are situated opposite the train station in Burry Port.
When you have done fishing or cycling, horse riding, boating, wind surfing, or just sunbathing why not come and join us.
Burry Port is a small picturesque town situated on the south-west coast of Wales and is probably best known for the 1928 transatlantic flight by Amelia Earhart. Being the first woman ever to fly across the Atlantic, she landed at Burry Port on June 18th in the seaplane 'Friendship'.
You can find us in Neptune Square on the north side of Burry Port's harbour park next to Brunel's mainline railway station. There is plenty of free parking close-by and you can book or contact us at (01554) 834334
