Malt House Farm Bed And Breakfast
Tom and Jackie await to welcome you to Malt House Farm bed and breakfast, which is quietly located on the marsh approximately three miles for the township of Laugharne.
Malt house farm is a working organic farm, which offers a high standard of accommodation with a home form home atmosphere. We have four double rooms two are en-suite and two with a shared guest bathroom, and also a guest lounge were guests are welcome to sit and relax or watch sky television. All the bedrooms have hair dryers and tea and coffee making facilities.
Malt house farm is an ideal base for anyone who wants to explore the area, being close to beautiful beaches such as Pendine which also has the land speed museum, Amroth which has miles of golden sand, Saundersfoot with its fishing harbour, Tenby with its quaint shops, wonderful beaches and the boat trips that take you to Caldey Island the home of the monks.
A little further afield you could explore the beautiful coastline of Pembrokeshire and the smallest city in the country St David’s which boast a cathedral, and if this isn't enough for you there are still many attraction to suit all ages and tastes.
To name but a few Folly Farm the perfect day out for children of all ages, with its farm yard animals, zoo, indoor fun fair, and adventure playgrounds, also Oakwood the adventure park for the young at heart. For other tastes and a bit closer there is the castle in Laugharne, which offer a lovely day out with its beautiful grounds. The Dylan Thomas Boat House is an other landmark locally where Dylan Thomas wrote his poetry and plays.
You could visit the market town of Carmarthen with its old and new along side one another and a few miles out of Carmarthen you will come to the National Botanical Gardens of Wales. On the other hand it might be walking or cycling is more to your liking this is still possible with many lovely walks in the area, you could even walk from the farm around the point and into Laugharne.
Clay pigeon shooting is a popular pastime and only a short drive away. Fishing again is close by with boat trips going out of Saundersfoot, and if this is all to much for you why not sit and relax in the many restaurants and bars that Laugharne has to offer.
