Location
We are a mile outside the village of Brechfa. There is a community shop selling most provisions and offering free to use cash machine.
We are 2 minutes by car from the Brechfa mountain bike trails and 20 minutes from the National Botanic Garden of Wales and Aberglasney Gardens.
The historic towns of Carmarthen and Llandeilo are both within ten miles and offer a variety of shops and restaurants.

Brechfa Forest and the mountain bike trails:
Gorlech Trail (red) is made up of three big climbs and descents and stretching over 19 km
Derwen (green/easy) gives the inexperience off road rider a unique introduction to mountain biking - distance 9.2km
Derwen (blue/moderate) - 4.7 km The blue route is also a stepping stone to the steeper and more technical red route.
Raven (black/severe) - for expert mountain bike users - distance 18.5 km.
