At the foot of the Nant FFrancon pass in the Ogwen valley, arguably one of the most beautiful valleys in Wales.
This unique watermill has been converted to give an indulgent 21st Century feel, set in its own grounds with 2 rivers tumbling down from the Glyder & Carneddau mountains. Stylish, modern and comfortable.
After breakfast you are free to roam the grounds and explore the nooks and crannies, a perfect way to start the day. A footbridge leads over the river Ogwen to the village rugby club and a five-minute walk will take you to the shops and pubs of Bethesda.
We have only three letting bedrooms and the atmosphere is relaxed, informal and friendly.
We offer quality Bed and Breakfast accommodation with excellent food, a special place where you can be sure of a warm welcome. We will do all we can to ensure your stay is special. Every attention is made to detail, the little extras come as standard.
Set 200m from the nearest road, you can be assured of peace and tranquillity. To ensure our guests are not disturbed we only accept advance bookings & have no signs at the entrance.
A host of outdoor activities can be experienced nearby, from gentle walking to mountaineering and water sports (watch the canoeists come down the river). There are a number of footpaths and cycle tracks on our doorstep, fishing for salmon and trout is very popular on the River Ogwen.
Reviews & Customer Feedback
We have stayed in many B&Bs over the years and in my opinion this is one of the best.
A converted water mill at the side of 2 rivers and in a woodland setting, providing the best nights sleep Ive had in ages and with only 2 letting rooms if you go with friends the place is exclusively yours. Good food & large comfy bedrooms, cycling and walking routes are right on the doorstep which is handy. Not many places to eat within walking distance but packed lunches and evening meals are available if you dont want to drive. All in all I think it was well worth the £70pr night for me and my girl. ...

This is the sort of hidden gem you dont tell anyone about in case its fully booked next time you want to go, but that would be unfair on Shirley & Jeff who run an excellent B&B. Lovely large bedrooms, Good food and Friendly people, would recommend to anyone. ...
