Plasdwpa has been a bed & breakfast for over 40 years, situated above the Severn valley with both England and Wales in its sights. It is a working Beef & Poultry farm on the Vaynor estate, and has been run by the same family for 47years.

It has a wealth of views to offer and very comfortable accommodation, we have 3 rooms, two doubles and a twin all ensuite and private bathroom. Very quiet location for you to relax in. Close to all main attraction and some very good eating places close by 1 1/2 miles to the village of Beririew, a beautiful black & white village with lovely walks to explore the old houses and their past.

Many visitors come to see Powys castle, the lakes, Llanfair light railway, this is on of the Little trains of Wales, Also there are the Cadw properties, which is like the welsh national trust, Montgomery Castel, Dolforwyn Castle, are just a couple for you to Visit during your stay. Also there is Montgomery Used to be the county town, with its Georgian buildings and lovely views it is full of history. Then you have Clewedog dam, which is near the source of the Severn river. This dam controls the Severn on its journey through Wales & England.

All in all lots of places to visit and beautiful things to see. You might like to take a ride out, maybe to North Wales, and you can travel via a lovely route called the three lakes, starting with Lake Vyrnwy above Welshpool, which supplies Liverpool with its water, on to Bala lake the place for a boat, then Lyn Celyn, where the white water rafting of Wales is done, very beautiful journey, and ending in Snowdonia our national park, and a different ride back home at the end of the day.
