Pine Tree Cottage is a comfortable affordable B&B, which has a small garden and lovely enclosed veranda to relax in after a day out exploring the nearby villages and countryside.

It is with easy distance of the Winelands and Cape town plus the undiscovered rural Overberg region. Kleinmond, itself is know for its beautiful natural flora and is surrounded by mountains and sea. Small local restaurants and gift shops can be found in the local harbour area where local fishermen still go out regularly to catch fish in the sea.

The wild life is profuse and the nearby wetlands are particularly good for bird watching. Whales visit the shores from June to December and can easily be spotted from the shore or along the coastal path.

In nearby Betty's Bay, the second land based penguin colony can be found. The first being near Simonstown in Cape Town.

A good network of roads make travelling in this area easy with Cape Town International Airport being only an hour's drive away.

For the sports enthusiast, there are 2 golf courses one in Kleinmond and the other 11 km away. A Health and Beauty Spa is also close by. Kleinmond is well supplied with medical practitioners and chemists whilst easy banking is available too.
