As you step out of the car, your internal clock instinctively slows to the rhythm of the bush in the natural beauty of the mountain bushveld surroundings.

Perched high above the distant village of Magaliesburg, Stone Hill offers a beautiful honeymoon B&B suite as well as SIX top class self-catering timber cottages.

The cottages are specifically designed to be Pet Friendly. They are all enclosed by fencing, and are not visible to each other.

All the cottages have their own fireplaces as well as private verandas and barbeques.

Facilities include: plunge pool, long quiet walks, biking, birding and wildlife such as jackals, porcupines, mongooses and buck.

Stone Hill is a wonderful cure for stressed city living!

We are only 11 kms from the world famous Heritage Site of Maropeng, the Cradle of Humankind. Visit the site to find out where humanity started.

Prior arrangements can be made with Caroline to book a personalised guided tour of our fascinating area. The Magaliesburg is 100 times older than the Himalayas!

We at Stone Hill offer our visitors a unique variety of activities as we can also make arrangements for more strenuous activities such as:
caving, mountaineering, abseiling, water skiing and hot air ballooning.
