All our rooms are large and feature 3; 5 meter high pressed steel ceilings. There is an Executive Suite with its own kitchenette and private patio with beautiful views over Johannesburg. There are a further 5 beautifully furnished bedrooms, of which 3 are en-suite. We are currently waiting for planning approval to add 2 more en-suite bathrooms, but in the mean time the other 2 bedrooms share a bathroom overlooking the garden and pool.

Area

Melville and Auckland Park are old and established areas close to all amenities. Auckland Park was founded in the 1880’s during the Gold Rush and Melville in the early 1900’s to house the railway workers. Both areas has developed a quite a bit over the last century, but still exudes the charm and character of a century old suburb.

Melville is Joburg’s most cosmopolitan village, boasting vibrant and trendy street life with some of the city’s best restaurants, cocktail lounges, galleries, boutiques, bookstores and coffee shops. Melville and all its delights are within walking distance from the house.

There is also a shopping mall within 5 mins walk where all your daily living requirements can be met. Cresta Shopping Centre and Clearwater Shopping Centre are also very close and feature the best in local and international clothing labels.
