Moore's guest lodge is a thatch lodge set in the heart of Westville, close to Durban and the popular beaches.

U Shaka is on the Durban beachfront and a popular tourist attraction only a fifteen minute drive away. Another popular venue is Zulu dancing in Bothas Hill where there are various other attractions. Bus tours are available or can be privately arranged by the Lodge.

The area is a good location and very quite and secure. Westville offers all the shopping you require including the Pavilion Shopping Centre which has a large variety of shops, movies, adventure golf, games, ten pin bowling and restaurants. We also have a wide variety of good restaurants and pubs in close proximity. There are numerous sight seeing tours which can be booked for you.

We have 2 double rooms on a bed and breakfast basis. Each room is tastefully decorated with TVs and DSTV .We also have 3 self catering units which are let on a long term basis.

We offer lunch and dinner on request, including vegetarian meals, and will cook meals to visitors requests. Some of our specialities include oxtail and lamb shanks cooked in red wine. We will do light lunches and toasted sandwiches during the day. Breakfast consists of fresh fruit salad and yoghurt, a variety of cereals, bacon ,eggs, sausage and tomato served with toast of your choice with preserves and tea and coffee.

We also offer full bar facilities, and complimentary bar snacks served at the thatch lapa in the evenings. We offer pick up and drop off options, and airport transfers. We will also accept small pets in a fully fenced and gated garden. Pets are allowed in the house.
