While you are on the way to the mysterious Mt. Lala you will enjoy the magnificent view of the surrounding Northern Cross. We advice you visiting DaShi old street, Cihu (The Culture Resort of the Jiang) and Mt. Lala natural protection zone.

Heaven on Earth
Availed of their package tour, inclusive of 4 meals, overnight stay, roundtrip transfers to the airport, tours to Dasi and Mt. Lala plus entrance fees.

From the airport, it can become a very long ride, close to 2 hours over zigzag roads going up the mountain. But once you reach this place...you may fall in love with it immediately.

We decided on skipping a trip to Taipei to experience something different in Taiwan, and we surely got it from Fu-Yam. It is nestled and tucked beneath huge mountains. With a gentle and calming stream that you will hear every day and night. It is very quiet, very peaceful, where you can even hear birds chirping even in the middle of the night. The rooms are very lovely with windows that show beautiful images of mountains, beautiful trees, cherry blossoms and a variety of flora. There are also nice little ponds near the stream where you can just sit and watch the fish, or just close your eyes and listen to the calming waters and chirping wildlife.

The tour to the Dasi old streets was nice. Charming villages and old quaint structures and temples. Wasn’t that much of a fan of Mt. Lala though. It was too tiring. I would rather stay in Fu-Yam all day and just relax in their balcony, reading a book or surfing the net (free WiFi) over a cup of coffee or tea.

The food was absolutely delicious. Home-made cooking prepared by the owners, Hakka style.

The owners, Brian and his father and mother were all too amazing. We couldn’t thank them enough for their warmth and hospitality. Booking this place for your next holiday wouldn’t be like your usual hotel and tour activity.

Think of it as a family inviting you over to their home. A home that is actually more of like a piece of paradise.
