Our house is a west coast home, built in 1947, set amongst our magnificent gardens. Landscaped with gazebos and hide-aways, the garden provides a perfect and peaceful setting. We overlook the Gibsons Harbor with a panoramic view of the Straight of Georgia, Howe Sound, and the Coast Mountains. A close and 'active' view allows us to watch the sunshine coast boat traffic from the spacious deck, where you may choose to have breakfast. Enormous cruise lines sail past your view on their way to Alaska.

The luxurious and spacious Suites have everything you will need. Romance, Comfort, Convenience and Privacy. Your own entrance and sundeck. Your own ensuite bath. Your comfort is a priority. A cozy bed with luxury bedding will ensure a good night's sleep. Bathrobes & slippers add to your comfort. There is the convenience of a snack kitchen with a microwave, bar fridge and sink. Tired in the evenings? No need to go out. Watch evening come to the harbour from your private deck and have dinner delivered to you. Satellite TV provides movies and many music stations to choose from. Complementary wireless internet makes this a great choice for a combined business/pleasure trip.

From The Maritimer Bed & Breakfast you can take an easy walk through the harbor to explore life in this charming, quaint, coastal village. The public docks are home to fishing boats and water traffic. You will enjoy the many fine shops including antiques and local artisans. International cuisine awaits or local seafood. Or sit a while on the waterfront at Gramma's Pub. Take a book and a picnic to one of the local beaches. Spend an evening at Bonniebrook beach around a campfire. Festivals and workshops are at your doorstep - Fibre Arts, Jazz, Art workshops, Farmer's Markets, and Outdoor Music in the Park. For the active - tours, kayaking, sailing, hiking. Perhaps a sunset dinner cruise. For the less active - a favorite book in the garden in the swinging love seat beside a pond. Wireless internet from anywhere on our property.

Your hosts Stu and Wendy will welcome you to their home. Ask us for help in organizing your stay. Maps and brochures will be provided to you to ensure easy organization of your time here with us. In the morning you will experience a delicious breakfast served to you either at your Suite or outside on our view sundeck - your choice. Only fresh ingredients are prepared to ensure a gourmet multi-course start to the day.
