River Bend Lodge Luxury Bed & Breakfast & Cottages
From deep within the backwoods of the Tobeatic Wilderness, River Bend Lodge and the Cottages at Trout Point offer serenity & comfort without pretension. Stillness and the enjoyment of nature are the essence of the guest experience. The lodge, cottages, and surrounding grounds offer plenty of space to sit, converse with others, curl up with a book, or simply take in the beauty of nature.
Each day will be as active or still as you desire. Watch the Tusket River from your accommodations as you recline in comfortable surroundings. Outdoor recreation beckons, including river & lake swimming, canoeing, kayaking, mountain bikes, & catch-and-release fishing. Hike the woodland trails of our 100 acre estate & the adjoining public wilderness. At the convergence of the Tusket & Napier Rivers, Trout Point borders the last pristine nature area in Nova Scotia. See bear, moose, turtles, flying squirrels, deer, beaver, owls, loons, & eagles. Relax, stroll a nature path, or simply read a book on the porch.
