A newly renovated 1860's sea captain's home, Summer Solstice is a water front B&B with four guest rooms; two with ocean views and two with meadow views.

We serve a full breakfast in our ocean view dining room.

Conveniently located near four popular whale watch harbours (East Ferry, Tiverton, Freeport and Westport), Summer Solstice B&B is the perfect starting point for exploring the Bay of Fundy.

Situated on a quiet cove in the Bay of Fundy, the house provides stunning views of the rise and fall of the world's highest tides from our roof top balcony and guest rooms.

The house is beautifully appointed, catching light from all directions and recent renovations have made the most of the natural beauty of the surroundings.

Long island is a world-renowned destination for nature lovers. Located at the most westerly tip of Nova Scotia, Digby Neck and Islands are surrounded by the waters of the Bay of Fundy and St. Mary's Bay. Visitors can take advantage of the presence of abundant wildlife and many botanical treasures. The productive waters of the Bay of Fundy are seasonal home to a number of whale, dolphin and porpoise species as well as seals and numerous sea and shore birds.

Marine wildlife can be viewed from one of the many whale and bird watching cruises operating in the area or from vantage points on land. The area is also rich in hiking trails and numerous beaches where gifts from the sea await the beachcomber.

After you day's adventures relax back at Summer Solstice and watch the sunset from our roof top balcony or choose a book from our extensive library.
