Romantic Bed & Breakfast in Northern Sonora

Construction was completed in 2009 with a total renovation of the original hacienda, a 100 year old adobe building. Ten hotel rooms were added to the back of the property and a beautiful interior courtyard was designed to accommodate an intimate relaxing atmosphere.

The entire project was built by a local Mexican construction crew, local artisans, masons, carpenters, welders, block makers, and ladrillo makers. Local building materials were used whenever possible.

The hotel offers Wi-Fi, a coffee shop, a gift shop filled with unique souvenirs made in Mexico, off street parking, and breakfast.

The second floor terraza provides guests the opportunity to view the small pueblo and the star studded night sky.

Kino Bay, a small resort town on the coast, is just three and a half hours from Banamichi. San Carlos, farther south on the Sea of Cortez, is a popular resort offering visitors fresh seafood, a variety of water sports including fishing, and a small harbor.

The Ruta Rio Sonora is one of three designated scenic tourist routes that begins in Cananea and takes you through several small pueblos along the Rio Sonora, including Banamichi, and ends in Hermosillo.
