Close to the Ridgeway Path and Phoenix Trail, Drifters Lodge overlooks open fields towards an area if outstanding natural beauty. There are 3 ensuite rooms (first floor) with LCD digital (Freeview) TV, hospitality trays and WiFi Broadband access. Full English breakfast. Guest lounge with Sky TV and access to terrace and gardens. Parking. Drifters Lodge is an eco-responsible house, using Fair Trade and locally sourced products in our breakfast menu and environmentally responsible cleaning products. We compost and re-cycle wherever possible.

Approximately 1 mile from the centre of Princes Risborough where there are restaurants, shops, schools, a swimming pool and sports facilities, churches and other amenities. 5 minutes walk to main line (London Marylebone/Birmingham) rail line.

Close to many local attractions, including Waddesdon Manor, Hughenden Manor, Claydon House and West Wycombe House and Hell Fire Caves, the Ridgeway Path and Phoenix Trail and the beech woods of the Chiltern Hills, Drifters Lodge is ideal for walking, cycling, riding, golf and tourist visitors to the area. Access to and from the M40/25/4 is within approximately 30 minutes drive. Heathrow and Luton airports are approximately an hours drive away and Gatwick only a little further. Shopping in Milton Keynes or Oxford is less than an hours drive away, with theatres and cinemas in High Wycombe and Aylesbury, both less than 20 minutes away.

Aylesbury is the County Town of Buckinghamshire and the centre of its administration. There are twice weekly markets and occasional Farmers and Continental markets as well as many other events throughout the year. There is a museum (with the Roald Dahl Museum of Childhood), the famous Ludwig Guttmand Sports Centre at Stoke Mandeville Hospital, a good selection of shops, the Vale Leisure Centre, Civic Centre (programme of theatre and other events) and the quiet Old Town streets around the parish church of St Mary.

This is a no-smoking house. Sorry, but we do not normally take pets or children under 10 years of age. Whilst we do not provide an evening meal, the dining room is available should guests wish to order-in from local restaurants.
