Town Farm Bed & Breakfast
Town Farm House is a Georgian dating back to the 1850's and is part of a working family farm. The rooms are all within the farmhouse.
All the rooms are en-suite and have their own kitchenette with full facilities (fridge, cooker, microwave etc). The rooms have satellite television and Internet included in the rental. Guests have the option of having a continental breakfast in their room or having a full English breakfast in the farmhouse (there is a reduction for guests who do not opt for the cooked breakfast).
Town Farm has been owned by the Leach family since the 1930's. The farm enjoys fantastic views of the surrounding countryside including the local landmark - Ivinghoe Beacon, which marks the start of the famous Ridgeway Walk.
The Farmhouse is situated on the outskirts of the village on the B489 (Icknield Way). Excellent location for the motorways, 4 miles from the A41 and 6 miles from the M1. Tring Station is only a few minutes away and takes you into London/Euston in just 35 minutes, Luton, Aylesbury, Hemel Hempstead, Milton Keynes and Watford.
There are lovely footpaths and walks in the surrounding countryside - Ashridge Estate, Ivinghoe Beacon, Aldbury, Wendover Woods and the Grand Union Canal.
There are many local places of interest - Pitstone Windmill, Leighton Buzzard Railway, Bekonscot Model Village, Tring Museum, Whipsnade Zoo, Woburn Safari Park, Champneys Health Farm to mention a few.
Ivinghoe is a small village in Buckinghamshire. There is a pub, well known restaurant (The Kings Head), Post Office, library, hairdressers, tea room and golf course.
