Ark Bed & Breakfast

The Ark Bed and Breakfast is ideally placed for a visit to Cambridge (UK). We offer centrally-located, non-smoking bed and breakfast accommodation in a family atmosphere. Cambridge City Centre contains the beautiful and historic buildings of Cambridge University with its colleges, the River Cam and many shops, banks, restaurants and cafés.

Close by are Anglia Ruskin University (ARU), the Cambridge Crown Court, the Grafton Centre for shopping, the Kelsey Kerridge sports centre, a modern swimming pool and walks by the river. There are many good restaurants for all tastes within minutes of the house.

We are also close to Cambridge train station and Drummers Street central bus/coach station.

We have two rooms which can be used for twin or single occupancy.

The Ark Bed and Breakfast is a warm and welcoming family home with Cambridge University connections and an international outlook. (We are British and Swiss, and used to live in South America.) Apart from English, we speak German and Spanish and can manage French.

Over the years The Ark has been used as a base for many tourists visiting Cambridge. However many guests find us ideal for visits to relatives living in Cambridge, for business or academic trips or courses, university interviews, exam resits and graduations.

Twin bedded rooms cost £55 per night including breakfast in the morning, and if used only as a single occupancy £40. Advanced bookings are only taken for stays of three or more nights and discounts are available for lengthier stays and regular visitors.
