Tre-pol-pen is a Victorian home of character situated in the busy conservation area of St Ives - a few dozen steps from the sea. Almost everywhere you might want to explore is close by and on the level - with no steep St Ives climbs to tackle!

Harbour Beach and Porthminster Beach are just a few minutes walk and Porthmeor Beach and the Tate Gallery are a 10 minute level stroll. We are surrounded by galleries, there are many shops around the corner and the nearest restaurants and cafes are almost next door.

Accommodation

We have one twin bedded room with separate private bathroom (and cosy bath robes for your use) master double with en suite shower room and a smaller double, again with en suite shower room. All rooms have TV/DVD, coffee/tea making facilities, radio alarm and hairdryer. Furnishings are modern with a fresh seaside feel. Our guest dining/sitting room has lots of books and brochures about the area and is available for guest use at all times. We also have a collection of DVDs for guests to borrow.

Meals

Our scrumptious breakfast will set you up for the day. Our current menu is:

Choice of Cereal/Muesli
Choice of Fruit Juice
Choice of Teas or Cafetiere of Ground Coffee
Fromage Frais/Yoghurt
Fresh Fruit Salad
White or Granary/Wholemeal Toast
Full English (with a touch of Cornish!) - fried egg, grilled bacon, oven cooked tomato, sausage, mushrooms, hash browns, Heinz baked beans and Cornish hogs pudding (this is not like black pudding!)
OR
Hot croissants or home-made Brioche with Cornish butter, Cheese, Cold Meats and Preserves
OR
Scrambled Free Range Eggs made with Cornish Clotted Cream on Toast

Tariff

2008: From £58 (low) to £74 (peak)
All rates represent room (not person) per night and include breakfast

All Bank Holidays (excluding New Year) are charged at peak rate and are a minimum 3 night stay

We are closed for Christmas. Please enquire about New Year rates - we charge an inclusive 3 day rate for all rooms.

We welcome enquiries from guests travelling alone and will offer sole occupancy in a double room where possible - the nightly rate will be higher than the 'per person' rate depending on seasonal variations and length of stay. We will also always consider a one night stay for which a supplement from £6 per room per night is payable, again depending on time of week and season. Please ask about specific dates.

Please call or email to check availability - we will hold room provisionally if required for an agreed period and will then take payment of deposit (one nights rate for 2 nights or more/full payment for one night stay)

Balance of payment is by credit or debit card or cash (on departure) or cheque with bankers card (at least 4 days prior to departure).
