Little Roseland

One twin and one double both en-suite with large power showers, heated marble floors and towel rails. And one double with a spacious bathroom with a luxurious roll top bath.

Guests eat breakfast in the dinning room and have the use of the sitting room. Sit on sofas watching sky or read in front of the wood burning stove, your choices are endless.

Making use of our almost tropical garden is a must, enjoying a cup of tea on the swinging seat mesmerised by the running water of the stream, or simply catching up with the daily news in the evening sun!

So much to see around us with St Mawes 10 minutes away and the church and gardens at St Just in Roseland (one of the wonders of Cornwall). More information can be found on our website. We look forward to hearing from you.

Room Notes: Floribunda Tulip Room: This elegant room has a contemporary feel to it combined with traditional furniture. Comfort is provided with 100% cotton bed linen, cushions, feather duvets and a sumptuous quilt for the chillier nights, sisal carpet and rugs. There is one chest of drawers, one large wardrobe and dressing table/stool for the ladies. Towelling bathrobes are available for each guest.

The large window seat overlooks the front garden. During the month of April, when the windows are thrown open to the sight of our specimen Magnolia Grandiflora tree you can't help but have the real sense of a 'Room with a View'. In late Spring, the beauty of Wisteria is at your fingertips and on those balmy summer evenings you dose off inhaling the perfume of the abundant Honeysuckle. This same window offers the most vibrant display of Camelias all through the Autumn and Winter, due to the Gulf Stream climate.

The bathroom has the luxury of a roll top bath, large pedestal basin and old fashioned style overhead cistern, and arm chair for those who enjoy absolute piece and quiet to read. The heated towel rail is constant, as is the view over the back garden and farmland.

Room Notes: Rouge Toile de Jouy Room: This light and airy room is enhanced with a combination of deep buttoned upholstered headboards, cushions, 100% cotton bed linen, feather duvets and quilt/waffle blankets for the chillier nights, sisal carpet and rugs with the benefit of two chest of drawers and double wardrobe. Towelling bathrobes are available for each guest.

On those hot days and nights the windows can be thrown back to enjoy a cool breeze overlooking the front garden. The window seat offers the perfect quiet moment, taking in the summer scents of the surrounding Honeysuckle and Roses; while during the month of May, the beauty of the Wisteria.

The shower room consists of a state of the art walk in power shower (1200mm x 800mm) with luxurious overhead rose. The benefits of under floor heating and heated towel rail are at the flick of a switch prior to your arrival.
