Wrasford Farmhouse

Wrasford Farm is a 180 acre working sheep & beef farm with a number of horses.
The farmhouse is a beautiful building built in 1850 retaining many of its original features. It is set in a stunning location amid peaceful scenic countryside, an ideal base from which to explore the north Cornwall Coastline.

The accommodation:
Two large en-suite bedrooms with toilet/shower/wash-basin facilities. Television/video and tea/coffee making facilities.
A generous full English breakfast is served either in the dining room or conservatory, whichever guests prefer. Our own farm produce is used where-ever possible including free range eggs There are various breakfast options including vegetarian and continental.

The conservatory directly overlooks an extensive lawned garden, guests are quite welcome to sit and relax during the evening with a bottle of wine.

Locally:
Kilkhampton is just a few minutes drive away, it has two good pubs, a general stores/post office and a popular farm shop.
The nearest beaches are at Sandymouth Bay and Duckpool, both are quite popular with visitors and locals alike and they are only 3 - 4 miles away.

Things to do:
Wrasford Farm is ideally placed for exploring both Devon and Cornwall.
The nearest major tourist resort is Bude just six miles away, there are two good sandy beaches in the town that offer good surfing when conditions permit. There is also an excellent choice of restaurants/tea rooms/pubs/small shops. The Bude Old Canal industrial heritage trail is a popular with walkers. There is also an excellent golf course overlooking the sea.

The ancient town of Launceston, picturesque villages of Boscastle, Port Isaac, Tintagel of King Arthur fame are all close by, and of course, not forgetting Bodmin Moor, a very popular destination for walkers, The cheese ring and Jamaica Inn being a favourite.

About an hours drive is the famous Eden Project, described as the eight wonder of the world

Padstow Harbour & Rick Stein's restaurant, about 40 minutes drive
