Hill Park is a Grade II listed 18th century farmhouse set in the beautiful Kensey Valley, 4 miles west of Launceston in North Cornwall, easy to reach from the A30 and close to the Cornwall/Devon border.

Our 4-star rated double bedrooms are centrally-heated and offer king sized beds, modern en-suite shower rooms, tea & coffee making facilities, TV & DVD, alarm clock radios, hairdryers and private patios. Each room is accessed via its own front door allowing maximum privacy and comfort, so you can come and go as you please. We also have lots of space for parking and secure cycle storage.

Guests can relax in the large garden and enjoy the views along the valley towards Dartmoor.

Our award-winning breakfast is served in the traditional cottage dining room which retains many original 18th century features including moorland fireplace and beamed ceiling. Local and organic produce and home-grown tomatoes are served whenever possible. Your choice of full English breakfast with vegetarian alternative, smoked fish and scrambled eggs, porridge or lighter options such as cereals, dried fruit compote, yoghurt or bagels.

We are ideally situated for walkers and cyclists wishing to explore Dartmoor and Bodmin Moor and also offer convenient access to stunning locations on the North Cornwall coast such as Tintagel, Boscastle, Trebarwith and Crackington Haven. Bude and North Devon are within easy travelling distance for daytrips. Local attractions include Tamar Otter Sanctuary, Launceston Steam Railway, Jamaica Inn and the National Trust houses of Cotehele and Lanhydrock are a short distance.

Two golf courses are within a fifteen-minute drive: Trethorne Leisure Farm and Launceston Golf Club, and St Mellion is 20 miles away (roughly half an hour’s drive). For those who enjoy watersports, Roadford and Colliford Lakes and Siblyback Reservoir are an easy drive away. We are conveniently placed for daytrips further afield – The Eden Project, Lost Gardens of Heligan or Plymouth Hoe.
