Glebe Cottage Bed & Breakfast

Glebe Cottage Bed and Breakfast is small and exclusive and is run by Phil and Sue Goozee.

The whole experience is just to get away to the country but also by the sea. You don't have to use your car, just walk down the lane into the woods for miles and miles of country walks and coastal walks to hand.

There are only two double rooms let, one with a king size bed, the other has a double bed. We strive to make it a very personal get away, like visiting friends. The rooms have lovely views over the gardens where you can watch the wild life, including pheasants, nut hatches, blue tits, chaffinches, wood peckers and lamas in the distance in the field beyond. It is very quiet here, during the night the only sound you will hear are the owls!

The bathrooms are newly fitted with marble floor and walls and large shower, toilet and basin.

Come and stay with us and enjoy the ambience of the country and the sea. There is one pub/restaurant in the hamlet of Morval, which is only 100 yds walk up the road.

Our Location

We are perfectly located, being just 20 miles from Plymouth with it's historic Hoe, Barbican and many other attractions and just 3 miles from the A38 for very easy access to the rest of Cornwall.

We are 2.5 miles from the extremely pretty, historic fishing port of Looe with it's two rivers, woods, lovely beaches, speciality shops, Olde Worlde pubs and restaurants, some of which are undoubtedly among the best in Cornwall.

Seaton, Downderry, Polperro, Polruan and Fowey all of which are very worthy of exploring are just a short drive/ferry ride away and of course the unmissable Eden Project is only 20 miles away on the outskirts of St. Austell.

The historic fishing ports of Looe and Polperro with their beautiful stretches of coastal path, pubs restaurants and speciality shops are a short drive away. (Looe 2.5 miles, Polperro 7 miles)

Unfortunately due to the layout of Glebe Cottage we are unable to accommodate wheelchairs and we do not have the facilities for small children. We are dog friendly as long as they are well behaved and clean.

Services Offered By Glebe Cottage, Bed and Breakfast:

Our bed and breakfast is small, unique and very private. We aim to have two to three, with the maximum of four guests per evening, therefore enabling our guests to have a lovely quiet peaceful time.

A full English breakfast is available each morning, all meat and dairy products are sourced locally:

Breakfast is served in the dining room

Fruit Juice, Fruit Salad and Yogurt, Cereals, followed by Two Free Range Eggs, boiled, scrambled, poached or fried with Bacon and Sausage grilled, Fresh Grilled Tomatoes, Mushrooms and Beans if required. Toast and Preserves, Coffee and Tea

Special requirements can be catered for, please request in advance. Vegetarian and organic options can also be catered for.
