A Beautiful B&B with Spectacular Views
Steeped in history, Lantallack dates back to 1327 when it was first recorded as belonging to St. Germans Priory, now the Port Eliot Estate and its historic cider orchards still produce delicious organic apple juice to this day.
We offer 5-star Gold Award accommodation in the house, in two double bedrooms (one en suite, the other with private bathroom). The atmosphere is extremely comfortable and informally friendly to ensure guests feel at home and enjoy their stay.
There is a delightful sitting room in which to relax with TV, hi-fi, a good collection of books and a blazing log fire on cold days. Lantallack is an inspiration for musicians (there are two grand pianos to play), artists or anyone wanting to combine fun with peace and tranquillity. Bedrooms are inviting with lots of extra treats, breakfasts delicious, served either in the farmhouse kitchen or in the walled garden on fine days.
Our accommodation includes two beautifully converted cottages - Pollyís Bower, an idyllic romantic hideaway for 2 people and Pippin Cottage for 6 people - both have stunning views over unspoilt countryside and stand privately in their own grounds.
Lantallack is ideally situated close to many of the magnificent Cornish beaches, with opportunities for swimming, sailing and windsurfing. The fishing villages of Cawsand and Kingsand and the glorious 5 mile long beach Whitsand Bay are nearby whilst a short trip in the car will get you to the National Trust properties of Cotehele, Lanhydrock and Saltram. Both Bodmin Moor, Dartmoor and Eden are only 30 minutes away and if you fancy a game of golf, we are just 10 minutes from the International Golf Course at St. Mellion. From May to October our fabulous outdoor heated swimming pool is open to residents.
